Lethal Habit - Chapter Six
Chapter Six
As Nadine entered her place, she tried to recall the events of last night, but it was all a big blank. There was was a lot more to Erik that met the eye.
Her mind was scattered; it was hard to focus on anything other than the vague goal of stardom. Now, it seemed so empty and stupid. Did she really think she was going to become a movie star? It’s not a job you apply for; they have to pick you which means you’re at the mercy of others, something she despised. The dream was fading fast.
Her phone pinged taking her away from the darkness that was beginning to take hold of her. A text from Erik.
“Hey Nadine. Hope you’re feeling better.” He put in a smiling emoji.
“I’m taking my yacht out with some friends tomorrow. Would love for you to join us.”
She had a tendency to lose herself in another person and it was happening again; the thought was exhilarating and dangerous. She waited for a few hours before responding. She then sent him a simple text: “Sounds fun.”
“You’ll love it,” he said. He included his address.
She looked at his text and put away her phone.
Something inside her knew she was walking into trouble, but the weight she carried around of the man she murdered plagued her and she felt she was about to receive some payback, call it karma. Maybe if she suffered enough, she would balance the scales and once again be worthy of standing in the light.
Back in the states, Helen, Nadine’s mother, waited to hear from her but that never happened. She imagined the worse, that Nadine had been killed. She quickly banished the thought. The police who earlier had been so interested in the case, had now moved on to other things. She prayed to God that Nadine was alright and that one day they would reunite and establish a relationship that Helen longed for with all her heart.
In the morning Nadine got up, had a light breakfast, and arrived at Erik’s an hour later.
“Ready to go?”
“Sure.”
“Did you bring a swimsuit?”
“I don’t have one.”
“I’ll buy you one. You’ll be more comfortable.”
“Okay.”
Erik had his driver take him to Harrods. She picked out a light blue bikini. Erik told the clerk to put it on his account and they were on their way.
“It’s a great day for sailing. You ever been out on a boat before?”
“No, but I always wanted to.”
“Well, you soon will be.”
The driver headed for Brighton, about fifty miles south and dropped them off. Erik’s boat was moored in the marina with several others. He led the way, and they soon were next to his yacht, a 55 footer with the unoriginal name of ‘Lady Luck’.
“Who chose that name?”
“That was on it when I bought it a week ago. Kind of tacky, isn’t it?”
“It seems so common.”
“Well, believe me, it’s anything but.”
She looked around and saw a few boats moored, gently swaying from the motion of the water beneath.
“I’ll probably have it renamed. What would you call it?”
She thought about it for a second, when two men approached.
“Erik, here we are.”
Erik introduced them.
“Nadine, this is Philip Henley and Steven Murray, two friends of mine from Cambridge.”
“Nice to meet you both,” she said.
There was something off about the whole affair, but Nadine brushed the thought away and decided to take a chance on a new experience and not let her fear or apprehension get in the way of a good time.
“Well, let’s get going.” Erik said.
They all followed him onto the boat and sat down on comfortable deck chairs as Erik manned the controls and started the engine. Nadine went downstairs to change into her bikini. She came up and both men were taking her in. She was full bodied with swelling breasts which got them aroused which they tried to hide, but it was obvious. Nadine didn’t mind the attention as she knew the ways of men. Erik headed south and soon they were ten miles from the shore. Nadine was taking in all the sights and sounds and excited to be out at sea, away from land, away from everybody. Erik took out some lobster, French bread and some wine and passed the food around and poured drinks for everyone.
“Here’s to a once in a lifetime experience.”
Erik gave a knowing wink to both Philip and Steven as Nadine looked out at some seagulls flying nearby and a dolphin circling the boat. They ate and drank as the sun started to sink in a beautiful azure sky.
“Have another drink.”
Erik grabbed each glass and filled it up.
“Are you alright Nadine?” asked Erik.
She looked pale.
“Probably a little seasick.” Erik had drugged her drink with Rohypnol.
She started feeling drowsy, and as she lay there, both men went over and started fondling her.
Erik said, “Wait, let me get the video cam.”
They undressed her and each pulled down their pants and started having sex with her, while Erik caught it all on camera. Nadine started to awaken, and once she realized what was happening it was too late. She started to scream, but nothing came out.
They turned her over and both entered her. She felt her body convulse and was about to pass out when Philip said, “Come on baby, stay awake, the best is yet to come.” As they both pulled out, they ejaculated on her. She feinted.
“How was she?” Erik asked.
“A fine specimen Erik. You always throw the best parties even though at $5,000 a pop it’s a bit expensive.”
“Well, you two can afford it. Let’s get back to shore.”
